Privacy Policy
Last updated 17 August 2026 · Responsible party: PartnerBridge (Pty) Ltd
PartnerBridge (Pty) Ltd (“PartnerBridge”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
PartnerBridge (Pty) Ltd is a company registered in the Republic of South Africa, registration number K2023902123, with its registered address at Unit S02, Rostra House, The Forum, North Bank Lane, Century City, 7441, South Africa.
We are the responsible party (in POPIA terms) and the data controller (in GDPR terms) for personal information collected through this website.
Our Information Officer is M. Du Plessis and can be reached at hello@partnerbridge.app.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter into it:
- First name and last name
- Cell number
- Email address
- Company name
- Website address (optional)
- Any message you choose to write (optional)
Information collected automatically
When you submit the form, we briefly process your IP address to limit how many submissions can be made in a short period. This protects the form from automated abuse. The IP address is held only in memory, is not written to a database, and is discarded shortly afterwards.
Our hosting provider generates standard server request logs as part of operating the site. Our own application logs record only that an enquiry was submitted and whether it succeeded — they deliberately exclude your name, email address, cell number, company and message.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising technology, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts. Our fonts are served from this site rather than from an external font provider. Nothing is written to your browser’s local or session storage.
If this changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
3. Why we process your information, and on what basis
- To respond to your enquiry. Basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries — POPIA section 11(1)(b) and (f); GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f).
- To protect the form from abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and free of spam — POPIA section 11(1)(f); GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing email to people who have only submitted an enquiry.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We share it only with the service providers (operators, in POPIA terms) needed to run this website and deliver your enquiry to us:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and content delivery for this website.
- Resend — delivery of the enquiry email to our inbox.
- [EMAIL PROVIDER] — the mailbox in which we receive and store enquiries.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
Where you ask to be introduced to one of our regional implementation partners, we will share your details with that partner so they can contact you. We will make it clear when we do this.
5. Cross-border transfers
Our service providers operate infrastructure outside South Africa, including in the European Union and the United States. This means your personal information may be transferred across borders, as permitted by section 72 of POPIA — on the basis that the recipient is subject to binding contractual terms requiring a level of protection substantially similar to POPIA, and that the transfer is necessary to perform the enquiry you asked us to act on.
6. How long we keep it
This website itself stores nothing. It has no database, and your submission is not retained on the site after the email is sent.
The enquiry email is retained in our mailbox for [RETENTION PERIOD], after which it is deleted, unless we are required to keep it longer by law or it forms part of an ongoing business relationship or a legal claim.
7. How we protect it
All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Because the site holds no database, there is no store of enquiry data on it to compromise. Submissions are validated on our server before being processed, and our application logs are written so that they never contain your contact details.
8. Your rights
Subject to the applicable law, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete information we no longer have grounds to keep
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests
- Where the GDPR applies to you, additionally: restrict processing, and receive your information in a portable format
To exercise any of these, email hello@partnerbridge.app. Requests for access to records held by us are handled under the Promotion of Access to Information Act — see our PAIA information and forms.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa:
- Website: inforegulator.org.za
- Complaints: POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you may instead complain to your local supervisory authority.
10. Links to other websites
This site links to websites we do not operate, including our booking provider and our implementation partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy notices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
